About Markos Design Workshop

We are committed to overseeing every project from its inception to its completion. Designing, preparing construction information, and witnessing spaces take shape.

With me, you won't become just a cog in a corporate wheel, nor will you be relegated to an assistant role. It's a collaborative journey between us to realise your project’s full potential.

Good design should be accessible to everyone. A key part of being a proficient architect is working effectively within the material, time, and budgetary constraints of each project. In our view, good design is not dependent on high spend; what’s more important is the right principles, intent, and approach to quality.

As a young practice, we take a technology-first approach both in terms of design and construction. In so doing, we can have far better control over quality, pace of construction and precision.

Our roots as a practice run back to Peter's upbringing in carpentry. That grounding gave us a feel for how materials and structures come together, and a sharper sense of what will actually work, on the budget and on site, that so often lacks on projects.

Alongside our architecture services, our core business, we run our own unique homestay business. The business is based on homestays we have designed, built and rent out. Developing our properties gives us, as an architecture practice, our own first-hand insights into the commercial realities of developing and building our own projects, and running our own homestay business.

With a background in carpentry, I craft eco-friendly homes designed around you.
